Marcos Paulo Sim\u00f5es nasceu em S\u00e3o Paulo e era filho adotivo do ator, diretor e autor Vicente Sesso, de quem herdou a paix\u00e3o pela TV. Em mais de 40 anos de carreira, Marcos Paulo atuou em dezenas de novelas como a primeira vers\u00e3o de Gabriela<\/em> (TV Globo, 1975), Tieta<\/em> (1989), P\u00e1ginas da Vida<\/em> (2006), al\u00e9m da miniss\u00e9rie O primo Bas\u00edlio<\/em> (1988), entre outros sucessos.<\/p>\n Como diretor, assinou trabalhos marcantes na televis\u00e3o como Dancin\u2019 days<\/em> e Roque Santeiro<\/em>. No cinema, sua estreia como diretor de longa-metragem foi, em 2010, com o filme Assalto ao Banco Central<\/em>. Marcos Paulo trabalhava na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de seu segundo filme como diretor, Sequestrados<\/em>.
